Velocity.Net/SOFTEK, Northwest Pennsylvania’s leading technology services firm, is now Velocity Network. The company launched its new business name and brand in 2008.

The SOFTEK name, which has represented the company’s IT services division since 1990, was retired in 2007. SOFTEK has become the IT Services business unit of the Velocity Network. Velocity.Net, the local Internet Service Provider (ISP) launched in 1996, will continue to operate under the Velocity Network umbrella. In addition to IT and Internet services, Velocity Network now incorporates new services due to several recent ventures and acquisitions: Communications, Innovative Solutions, Creative Services, and Payroll Services.

Velocity Network is a privately owned company, based in Erie, PA, that provides a network of technology-based services throughout Western Pennsylvania.
