Velocity Network’s Communications business unit, Velocity.Net Communications, Inc. (VNCI), was incorporated in Fall 2005. VNCI applied to become a Pennsylvania Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) and a Competitive Access Provider (CAP) in 2006. VNCI received CAP Approval in Fall 2006 and has been awarded provisional CLEC authority by the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Velocity.Net Communications’ services portfolio includes: fiber transport, PBX systems, Voice-over-IP (VoIP) services, and solutions for connecting Multiple Dwelling Units (MDUs).
